Gotta love this. Caleb and Rome were caught on video
Looks like Caleb and Rome are declaring war on Green Bay. They sure kicked over the hornets nest with the Green Bay fans last night. Oh, man, it's gonna be a great season to watch.
LINK Chicago Bears Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze Chant “Green Bay Sucks”
Caleb Williams is not afraid. He is not intimidated. That much we know of the Chicago Bears’ no. 1 draft pick and overall top NFL selection. The former USC quarterback standout had impressed observers throughout his college run with a fearless demeanor and extreme risk-taking confidence.
So, should we be the least bit surprised that the blue chip 22-year-old is diving right into a Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers rivalry that has burned red hot for over a century?
Over the weekend, Williams was spotted at the Old Crow Smokehouse in Wrigleyville along with fellow Bears no. 1 draft pick (no. 9 overall), wide receiver Rome Odunze, bonding with Chicago locals over a nice, enthusiastic “Green Bay Sucks” chant and, clearly, having a good time with it.

These two seem to be on a mission to make sure we are a long term winning team. The are embracing the Bears and our legacy. Good things are going to happen!
I was thinking that they do need to back the talk up with wins now.
So true and let's be honest here.
If the Pack do in fact suck..(please be gentle with me, I am Canadian remember.) When was the last time we won a series or even beat em?
I know we are just pretending to be at the bottom of the division year after year. But are we really ready to maul now?
I remember my grandfather reading to me about how there WAS a time, long, long ago, when the Bears apparently did win a game or two over the Green Bay Packers. Grandfather said it was "way" before his time - but the wins were found in an old cave... cave etchings by some Bears fans who lived in ancient times.
It was so very long ago. It looks like the Honeybear cheerleaders were butt-ugly gals back then:
And from the ancient cave etchings it looks like the NFL rules were so different from today. If I'm understanding those old cave etchings correctly - the offense was allowed to ride horses and kill defenders with bows and arrows. The D guys were on foot with only spears. But you can clearly see that the defense was allowed to unleash tigers on the offense (I guess your QB1 could get eaten by 'em if the OLine wasn't pretty damned good with aiming their arrows).
But yeah, it does look like we did win over the Packers back then.
Maybe ptisme can verify some of this. I did hear that there were some dead sea type scrolls found up there by Green Bay that had record of the Bears actually winning a game or two in ancient prehistoric times.
