+1 I'm still convinced he's the reason why the Bears have been struggling... not sure how, but that has to be it.
Is your dentist named Dr. Angelo by any chance?
No. His name is Dr. Ted Philips. Older dude who went back to school for a 2nd career (doesn't talk about his first career).. he seems legit (he got his MSU in Dentistry from bearsinhouston I think).

We do offer both dentistry and neurosurgery degrees also. We also provide dentistry and neurosurgery services. We ask that all neurosurgery activities be paid up front. None of our patients to date have been able to pay after services were rendered.
18 or even at 20 games, the players are going to need an additional bye week as they’re simply taking a pounding on the field.
I believe the broadcast partners don't want two bye weeks. The Sunday games are already depleted in terms of quality and with the NFL pushing high value games/markets to amazon, youtube, twitter and Thursday...FOX and CBS (I think that is who have the NFL packages) are feeling screwed.
What the NFL needs is a league wide bye week somewhere around game 10. Schedule a Sunday off for everyone and open the NFL-Films vault to the networks. Show SB 1, show the 1968 Bears 63-0 win over the Redskins, show any game with Barry Sanders or Jim Brown. Tell HOF stories but with real game clips from the vault. Show an old Manning/Brady game and have those two there to give insight into playcalls......
They won't. Instead the Browns-Saints will be the game of the week on a Sunday afternoon in November.

Looks like we are 15 months from a move to the west coast. Whats it like watching the Bears at 10:00 am on Sunday morning?
I agree with your reasoning on why they won’t do it even though, in my opinion it’s needed. A league wide bye week around game 8 and a second one around game 16 would allow guys to recover and be ready for a late season push and the playoffs. Showing the old games would be fantastic!
I lived in California for 35+ years (now retired in South Carolina) and Sunday football out west is the best! You can watch all day and it’s basically over in time for bed. No crappy Monday sleep deprived mornings to worry about.

Works fine for me. Might be a small problem for some church-going people on Sunday.
Our Church had Thursday and Saturday evening services and an early Sunday service. It worked!

I have noticed this trend. 50 years ago, church was on Sunday. Sunday has now become “flexed” to Saturday for some people. So much for “keep holy the Lord’s Day.”

Yea. We saw that too. Our Thursday night service and the 8am&9:30am Sunday services were traditional Lutheran services. Saturday night was country themed and Sunday ay 11am was more like classic rock.
