NFL Analyst strongly commends Bears roster moves & Eberflus.

That's pretty much my take on it as well.

What I am hoping for out of this is we have a cadre in our management who see the organization aggressively building a multi-year deep playoff run contender.  By management cadre I mean Warren, Poles, Cunningham and, very possibly Eberflus (and the OC and the DC).  And the folks involved all know we could be in at least one SB over the next couple of years.  And hopefully multiple SBs.

I'm thinking that both Warren & Poles view Cunningham as a critical piece of the puzzle.  So, I am sure he is paid pretty well.  And I am quite sure that Cunningham knows his value in the current GM market.  And if Cuningham is as smart as I think he is, he isn't going to jump into the first GM position that comes along.  He is going to want one where he can really succeed and become the next God-Emperor GM in the NFL.  So, what I (admittedly long-windedly) am trying to say is we could have Cunningham for at least another year or two.  As well as Waldron and a few others.  Because their value peaks after you win a bunch of games (and hopefully a SB).
