I don't like early bye weeks, but it may work out to our benefit since our QB is new and after a few weeks, it could prove beneficial to take stock and work on whatever he has issues with. Oooops.... sorry..... I did not mean to say he would have any issues. Gotta only say good things.....

I was thinking it's going to be interesting with a rookie QB playing in London, his 6th game ever in the NFL. But I thought the same thing about the early bye week not being ideal that early. I didn't think about the possible benefit for Caleb though... he can regroup and the team can have a bit of a rest after the London travel game. A 17-game NFL schedule, that includes playing in London, will be a change for Caleb, a step up from college seasons. That bye week will be good there.
Our family just got tickets to the Bears @ Texans game, Sunday Night Football, Caleb vs Stroud & Company. I can't wait. Looks like my (now) 4-month old grandson may be at his 1st ever Bears game that night with us. Pretty cool.
