Saints sign Patrick

I think Patrick was brought in to help Getsy teach his OFF (snap counts, blocking schemes, etc.....) Then, he was forced to play. We know how that went.

Similar to when Jonathan Quinn was signed from KC Chiefs when Terry Shea was hired to be Lovie's first OC. Apparently Quinn knew the OFF so well that KC teammates swore he could predict who would be open and where, who was going to blitz, and how the DEF would rotate after the snap. Yet, when he was forced to play he was terrible when actually facing a pass rush.

Ah...Jonathan Quinn. Some posters on the original CBMB thought he could be our Tom Brady. Good times.
