This seems to be a good assessment of where the IOL is at this year. It's not Kool Aid stuff, but it also isn't at the other extreme either. Injuries seem to hit OL guys hard every season (it's not just a Bears thing). Maybe it's due to the linemen on both sides of the ball being bigger, more powerful and explosive than back in the day. Basically the IOL guys just take a lot of punishment and often break.
I'm hoping 2025 is the year of the linemen as far as upgrades (both D and O).

I’d like to see them resign Jenkins as he can be very effective when healthy.
I would too. The back injury seems to have been fixed by surgery. The other injuries have been less concerning. Pretty much all of these OL are going to be injured. That's just the game now. Teams need high quality depth behind these guys (all of 5 of the starters). I'd like to see Jenkins extended too.

Plus, the way the last few seasons have played out, I believe we held him out at the end of the season as there wasn’t a reason to play him.
