I know we always say they are meaningless. But I still enjoy watching the teams move up and down in them. I notice that the Lions are top-4 in pretty much every single one of them (some at #2 ranking). They are definitely viewed as one of the favorites to be in the next Super Bowl.
I notice most of them have Green Bay in the top-8 or 10 too.
The Bears are a bit all over the board from 16 down to around the lower 20's (22 or so). I don't think these rankings people are as optimistic as the Chicago Bears fans are, who expect double-digit wins this season. They're liking the draft but not drinking the Bears Kool Aid for the 2024 season yet.
The Vikings are also all over the board. Some have them ranked above us, with the Bears finishing dead-last in the NFCN this season. But there are some that do rank them below us.
The bottom line is that every single one of the (many) post-draft power rankings have us 3rd or 4th in the NFCN this year. They just see the rest of the division as being a lot better than us in 2024. They definitely see the Lions and Green Bay as powerhouse teams in the NFL this year.

Right. And that’s why I am “wait and see” how we stack up against the North and the rest of the schedule. Cautiously optimistic but hold off on the koolaid.

+1 I've come full-circle to this point now too. I have adjusted my 2026 prediction for a SB ready team to 2025 - not saying we will make it to the SB by then, but rather we should be one of the better teams in the NFL that can sure be in the hunt like the Lions are this year. I've noticed that the Lions are seen now as one of the favorites to be in the Super Bowl this season. But like you point out, let's see how the Bears stack up against our division this year. We beat the Lions last year and came really close to sweeping them. But it looks like they got significantly better this off season and will be tougher this year. Green Bay has owned us forever now. Let's see if we can at least win one of 2 against them this year. I have no clue on the Vikings. It's like they could suck or be pretty tough. I think they could have picked a solid QB in J.J. McCarthy. Their offense is set up to support a new QB and McCarthy strikes me as being a solid pick. Solid coaching staff for JJ too. JMO, and I know a lot of people won't agree with that.

Alright! You are back with me to Super Bowl ready 2025. I think the window will still be open2026, but if we’re not there by then, Warren will lose patience. I’m counting on it.

And I admit I don't know. It's just a wild guess by me, a meatball fan. I am in that "wait and see" mode. But it sure looks like most of the rebuild is completed now (with a few noteable exceptions). I believe it is reasonable to expect those remaining needed players to be added in one more draft and FA - 2025. And none of the players we have now, will be rookies then. Some will be in their 3rd and 4th seasons at that point. Should (I would think) be a powerful team... it looks like it anyway to me.
