I just posted a power rankings thread that has some of the forecasters still putting us as dead-last in the NFCN this season. They like the draft, and feel the team has improved, but they see the us 3rd or 4th in the division. Everybody has the Lions in the top-4 of the entire NFL (one had them as the #2 team in the NFL). Green Bay is high in all of these too, top-8 in most.
The Bears have improved but we are not playing last year's NFCN teams. The other teams added talent too.
We can sweep the Vikes and split with Lions/Packers, that’s 4-2 in the division. We have easier schedule than them, so that helps. I don’t think you are shooting high at all. 9-8 would be a disappointment.

Yeah, I get it. And we may be last, but I don't think so. If we had a better pass rush, we would have a better chance to rattle Love. But we will see. We have lots of good pieces but not sure they will come together early enough to have a great season. Definitely a "we will see" thing. I'm going to watch and hopefully enjoy. As long as it comes together by the end of the season, I'm ok with it. If it takes Williams a while to get it and we have another losing season, so be it. As long as he finally gets there and we have gotten better

I agree, and also nobody knows how the four division teams will do this year. I believe we are better than the Vikings now. I don't see us being dead last in the division this year. And we matched up well with Detroit last year, beating them once. Should have beat them in that other game. And while Green Bay is good, I could see us splitting our two games with them this year. I do believe we need 2025 to be a serious threat to win the division. One more draft/FA.
