At first I thought this was a crazy thing to even think about. The guy is 37 years old now. But reading the article it might make some sense as a 1-season bridge to next year. The article points out: the 6-foot-8, 282-pound Campbell’s massive presence could help shore up Chicago’s D-line.
“... he has been reliable, efficient and relatively productive... Campbell was the Falcons’ leading pressure creator last season,” Pizzuta noted. “Throwing Campbell on this line could take attention away from Sweat and open up opportunities for the likes of DeMarcus Walker and Gervon Dexter.”
He would probably be very affordable at this point in his career. What do you think?

Jeez.... still productive at 37
My thoughts are that this is a definite need. He will be here only for a year. Does it make sense to bring him in and stop development of Dexter? Depends on what the Bears think of Dexters future. If they don't see him as the solution, then yeah, bring him in. If they think Dexter is the man, then I say ride with him.
I say no. Us old guys hit a wall all of a sudden and become slow, lethargic and just want to sit around and watch TV. Trust me, I know. Watch TV or till the garden? Watch TV or weed the lawn? Watch TV or ride the exercize bike? (I know, that one you can do both, but I'm not ambidextrous).
Remember Orlando Pace? Unless my old memory is failing (it is), he came well respected, but was too old and did nothing for us.
Also, let Gervon develop. He won't get much experience riding the bench, other than experience riding the bench. We don't need him to be a sideline cheerleader even though we don't have any.
