Multiple reports are talking about how the Bears have been working with Caleb leading up to the draft - including working on his contract already. It does sound like the Bears are handling the transition well. One thing that has come out from Caleb is that he loves Chicago for its passion for football. He is highly motivated to play in a city that has this level of passion for the game.
I have the feeling that we are gonna love this guy, and he is going to love playing for the Chicago Bears. On social media the non-Bears fans are so butt-hurt over us getting this guy. It is comical to read their pitiful sour grapes comments.

Meh.... don't care if they like it or don't like it. Don't even care what Bears fans think. I just want him to be a good QB, be a good person, and win games.
Longer version of that brief video above. He just wants to win. In Chicago. For the next 20 years. Gotta love the passion.
LINK "I want to play in one place for 20 years and chase one guy, number 12," Williams told "The Pivot" about his pending move to Chicago. "I want a place that loves ball. That's all I've heard about Chicago so far." For Williams, once he is drafted by the Bears next week, the goal is for Chicago to be his one and only home. Considering the turnover that the Bears have had at the quarterback position, the idea of Williams looking forward to ending that misery is exactly what fans need to hear.

I wish him the best of luck and I hope to god the Bears finally end the QB carousel that has been going on for over 30 years. I hope the knucklehead fans on Social Media don't throw him under the bus right away.
Can you believe it? Not sure what it will feel like not to be in wait mode. Looking forward to see what pieces we add through the draft. Will be a big step. Then we just need to sit back and see if Poles fills in more spots before the season starts.

I feel the same way. Just zilch happening right now. I'm excited about the future, but it's like being a little boy waiting for Christmas Day. Seems like forever. Also, the last two weeks have been death-valley days with not much new stuff to post here on our messageboard. Believe me, I've been trying.
