Maybe the NFL doesn't think he's that good. I am surprised that nobody has signed him. But I'm one that often over values our Bears players thinking they are better than they actually are.

After the first wave of free agency it becomes a holding pattern until after the draft. Also, a lot of vets don't want to do OTA's or any of that stuff, so they wait to sign until all that stuff is over with.

He will get signed after the draft but is gonna take a paycut from last year for sure.
He's that vet stopgap you sign for 2 years while you get a rookie up to speed you don't fell good about starting right away.
