This came out today. I wouldn't rule out Poles trading down. My gut feeling is that it is 50-50 that the draft falls to him in a way that it makes sense to trade down.

For those that are all-aboard the trade-down-trade, this article should sober you up about how unrewarding it might be.
You aren't getting much unless you go wayyyyyy down in which case you are getting an elite prospect. Is a 4th and a 5th worth it?
The only way I'm ok with a trade down is if Alt or Rome are off the board.
I understand you want depth but we also need blue chip players to win you games. Who really are our blue chip players?
Elite game changing players.
As much as I like DJ Moore. I wouldn't put him in the top 5. He might barely make top 10.
I think that is reasonable regarding Alt & Odunze... if they are off the board. It would be a shame to pass over that kind of talent.
I think this is the last time the Bears are picking this high. You go after blue chip players at this point.
In order for this draft to be successful. Both the #1 and #9 overall players need to be great. Since no defensive player is worth a top 10 pick this year. Go after offense. I'm down with either one.

I have tried unsuccessfully to stir up this trade on the Seahawks forum. They could move up ahead of Broncos for Penix or Nix. Geno will be gone next year, but nearly all of them plan to roll with Sam Howell (??) or just kick the can down the road in 2025.
I can’t even get Seahawks fans interested. They have head in sand. There seems to be a universal bias against trading up in the draft, because we all know that, statistically speaking, it usually fails — except when it doesn’t.

You think the Seahwaks fanbase would be interested watching Penix for the past 3 seasons putting up gawdy numbers while staying healthy. Maybe the 12th man doesnt watch local college ball? I think they dont know what to think with Pete Carrol gone.
