Smear campaign against Caleb is "ridiculous" (good video)

JABF, I don't want to misrepresent my feelings on this. I think he is the guy to draft and I hope we do. I just see some intolerance towards opposing positions. Probably should just have shut up about it, but it just stuck out for me. Just like the people making unjustified criticisms rubs me the wrong way. Attacking people that are reasonably trying to present a position also rubs me the wrong way. I am not saying that unjustified criticisms should not be attacked, but it just seemed like anything negative was being attacked.

Anyway... enough said.

Edit: Oh, and I agree. I have said before, I have seen Brady and other elite QBs look like crap when they were being pounded. No one does well like that. I did not get the impression that the criticisms of his not playing under pressure was talking about those situations, but I could be wrong.

I hope you at least color coordinated them!

Caleb is 22 years old (I just looked it up... his birthday is in November).  You bring up a good point.  These are very young men who are not completely mature.  My mom used to say young people don't begin to get good sense until age 30... and in the case of my brother and I it was so true.  I'm an old man now and I still do dumb things at times.  It just triggers me to get angry when people go negative on people when they don't know what they are talking about - they are just parrots passing on crap on the Internet. 

It is so wrong.

I can't control what other people do.  But I do try to keep positive about people, as best I can.  I don't wish "bad" on anyone.  The heck of it is, I read all this negative crap about Caleb and (at first) thought some of it might be true.  So I spent time listening to his comments for myself.  He comes across as a mature and nice guy.  He seems to have VERY nice parents who love their son and have tried to raise him right.  They don't let people take advantage of their kid - I can relate to that as a dad myself.  FWIW, I read the negatives about his play as a quarterback from some "questionable" sources, so I spent a TON of time watching his play myself.  He is clearly an incredible quarterback with elite world-class athletic talent (including his mental processor).  He sure looks like an incredible talent to me - judging from my own eyes, he passes the "eye test" with A+ grades.

I refuse to go negative on this young man.  We live in a very negative world right now.  But I have made up my own mind that I am not going that way.  I am trying as hard as I can to see the good in people.  I am trying to be more positive about them.  LOL, some days it is a losing battle for me and I do get "down" and negative.  But this year I'm trying to focus on the good and not the bad in life.

LOL, maybe I'm just a crazy old man now (probably am).
