Ryan Poles was classy today in responding to RGIII's comments where he advised Caleb to refuse to play for the Chicago Bears due to past regime failures here. Poles said that he and Coach Eberflus were brought here to break a cycle of the past - just as he and others were hired with Andy Reid to break a cycle in Kansas City.
Poles said that nobody even talks about the past in KC anymore. That is what Poles is all about now in Chicago.

Poles admit that he thought Griffin's comments were unfair in large part because Chicago has a fairly new regime in place. "It pisses me off a little bit to be honest with you because we were hired to break a cycle," Poles told McAfee. "The same thing when I was in Kansas City. Coach Reid, all of us where brought there to break a cycle. And we did. And no one talks about those days anymore. It's all about what they are right now. I really believe we are about to break that cycle and get this city in a really good situation and win a lot of games. So the past is the past. I don't worry about that all. It's all about where we're going.
