Competition for Braxton Jones: Kiran Amegadjie?

I'm torn on this. I agree he should draft a C, but only has 4 picks. He definitely might trade down, but I am no longer convinced he will draft a C. He might just stay pat this year which what he got in FA and see if he needs to next year.

I do hope Poles grabs a young C in this draft as there are several good ones and the Bears could let him learn as a backup to then take over in 25. Rookie Centers are seldom good. Heck, rookies are seldom good.
I also agree with JABF about not reaching taking bpa. But I hope the draft falls in a way that one of the Centers Poles has his sites on ends up being there, wherever that is. I trust in Poles especially when it comes to offense lineman!

I'll bet the Bears are not finished with support for Caleb.  I do believe the offense is vastly improved, but the Bears know they are not finished yet.  Getting Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen, Gerald Everett, D'Andre Swift, Coleman Shelton & Ryan Bates are 6 players on offense that should make the team better.  Darnell Wright should be much much better now that he's got a year under his belt at tackle.  And I do expect Braxton Jones to be better this year too.  I honestly do.  If the Bears add a key piece in the draft on top of all of that then this should be the best offense we have seen in Chicago in years.
