He was the starting C for the Rams the last two seasons. He grades out higher than Patrick. I'd still like to see the Bears draft one of the young guns in this draft. Start the best of the vet C's this year and let the youngster start next year.
We are still a good 35 players short of the number needed to go into TC. We probably should prepare ourselves for a lot of signings that are not stellar guys. And in recent years I've come to the realization that our backups are important too. The signings don't matter to fans but matter to the success of the team (44% of NFL players miss at least one game each year LINK). And there are also a few players signed who are intended to help our Special Teams. Those signings have us rolling our eyes unimpressed but all 32 NFL teams have to go through this. LOL, they can't all be zinger signings :-)
