So they are going to abandon going to Arlington Heights and stay downtown, with hopefully a better way to get in and get out.
They are going to bypass the traffic hassle and ferry them on lake michigan
That might be easier for me to get there. I can just hope on a ferry. I am very familiar with the Toronto docks on lake Ontario.
Find the right boat to get me from lake Ontario to Lake Erie. Then through lake Huron to Michigan.....You know what? I will just drive or fly lol. Actually flights to Chicago are quite cheap from Toronto. I got the travel bug now hahah.

Every time I click a link like these it is either sign up for something. Has anything been mentioned on what would happen to Soldier's field? I have no idea what the State policy on heritage sites and the ability of keeping them.
Why would they sink $2B into a publicly owned stadium. I thought Warren was sharper than that. Or maybe I am just too stupid to understand.
I know, it has me scratching my head too. All I can think is that:
1. Under Ted Phillips' watch the Bears really blew it by not getting these tax issues addressed up front so they would never have been the surprise that killed the deal.
2. The Arlington Heights tax recipients just killed the goose that would have laid the golden tax eggs for the next century there. SMH. They got greedy and the consequence of that greed will translate into NO tax money once the Bears dump the property. Maybe they'll get a mega-pig farm on the 350 acre property or a meat processing plant... I'm sure the McCaskey family will "reward" the town with something "appropriate" for what they did.
