It's like the Bears have set the table for a huge off-season upgrade of the roster - but we want to watch it actually executed well. Poles is holding some great cards right now, but will he play them well? But kudos for how Poles set things up for this moment. But you are right. Let's see what happens this year.
I'd be down for this:
I like JPJ a lot but seemingly could trade down from 9 to get him along with more draft capital. I am also high on Odunze & I know Nabers is supposed to be well respected but just havent watched him like I have Odunze. Looking back at past drafts of WRs it seems its seldom the top pick that outshines all, though Marv is probably the exception. Nothing to not like about him.
What about his first pick in his mock? My personal opinion is he is the best WR prospect that the NFL has seen for at least a couple of years. Whoever plays QB will have the deadliest 1-2 combo at WR in the league. Aoso we have more than a little money to spend in FA.
But is he Generational?
Speaking of which. I like that trade. We get Wash 1st which could mean we would have a good crack at next year's "Generational Talent" at QB.
Except next years class looks much weaker. Yes, that could change but right now this draft class looks as stacked as it ever comes on offense. WR, QB, OT...all have really really good top-10 talent.
There are 2 players in this draft that are legit "once a decade prospects" and they are CW and MHJ. Bears have to get one of those two.
