Probably won't happen. It's just a fun thing to watch:
This guy is crazy. The sacred chart says going from #2 to #1 is only worth 400 points. The interesting thing for me is that he doesn’t believe that Warren is just blowing smoke with his super strong endorsement of Fields that I posted a couple days ago. Maybe this is his way of opening the bidding for Williams to see what it’s worth. Trade down one or two spots and draft Harrison. I just hope Poles doesn’t screw this up.

I just posted it for fun. But regarding the charts I've been reading that they are not that accurate for the high picks. And the old 1990 Jimmy Johnson trade chart is an older chart that is not exactly the sacred chart anymore. It sounds like "anything goes" with a top of the draft trade down. It just boils down to how desperate a team is for a franchise quarterback.
I will say this though. In my own mock drafts a double trade down is like this guys video. I was able to harvest some incredible talent. And I do like the idea of getting another 1st rounder for next year again. I'm still hoping we keep Fields but have accepted the possibility the Bears will draft a QB and deal Fields. If that happens then the Bears are going to get one heck of a haul of talent this year and also in 2025. I'm not trying to re-open the debate here about what QB would be best. Rather I am just saying the draft haul that would result from keeping Fields would probably be significant.

The so-called “haul” damn well not miss on Harrison. That is non-negotiable, unless some idiot GM offers a hyper-Trey Lance deal.
Those draft simulators have zero respect for the sacred chart. You can do all kinds of crazy trades with them.

I agree, but there are some GMs who don't religiously follow the chart either... especially in the very top of the draft. I just think anything goes if a GM truly covets a QB1 that requires a move up to our 1st round pick of the draft.

Yes, we have seen that several times. Some of these fools never learn, and Trey Lance deal wasn’t too long ago.

+1 People can do some dumb things in the draft for sure.

BTW, we have some people on the Seahawks forum who want to draft Powers-Johnson at #16. I doubt that he will be there in the second round, but I’d jump on it if he is.
