Kevin Warren interviewed by Jarrett Payton in WGN Sports

A lot of people (IMO probably a majority) feel this interview means two things.  First, the Bears will build the new facility on the southern lake shore of Chicago (there has been a lot of under the radar stuff going on between Warren and the White Sox who are also looking to build a new facility).  And second, that the Bears are staying with Justin Fields and will trade down then take MHJ. 

Personally, I think Warren is one the slickest and smoothest executives that I've seen.  And I sincerely mean that.  This guy is good, very good.  And he could be simply playing off the City of Chicago against the Village of Arlington Heights and he could easily be working with Poles to enhance their negotiating position for selling the #1 pick or for trading Justin Fields.

I guess I need to uncork yet another bottle of the vintage Kool-Aid and put another bag of popcorn in the microwave.

A retractable would be nice.  But to be honest I won't miss freezing in some of those bitter cold games of the past.  LOL, maybe I'm just getting old :-)

I'm sure a retractable costs a lot more than a fixed roof. Money that can be spent elsewhere. Hopefully the McCs use it on state of the art stadium features, not to line their pockets.
