Assuming Bears and Washington go QB first. A QB hungry team like the Patriots could benefit from this. With both top prospects taken, leaving a big hole for the remaining QBs in terms of ceiling. Fields may be better than what's left in the draft. We could then still draft MHJR. Patriots still have a top 10 pick to grab another player.

The idea isn't crazy. CHGO has called any trade scenario that gets you BOTH Caleb and Harrison as "the nuclear draft option".
Only thing I'd say is that when you are trading a future year pick, the rule of thumb is to reduce it one round for point value. So a mid-2nd in 2025 is worth ~ what a mid-3rd is now.
In this case, NE would have to really want Fields. If they do, yeah Poles should think about something like this hard.

We have two 2nd round picks in 2025. Panthers and Ours so you could combine both of them to get the equivalent of the same points to make things a bit better for Patriots to want it.

If I was Poles this is what I be pushing.
Oh it can definitely be done. IF they are interested in Fields.
