If the Steelers offered a Trey Lance deal (3 firsts and a 3rd) for #1, would you take it?
No. For the simple reason "What do they know that I don't?" They could trade for Fields for much less and instead are willing to give up that much to get the 1st pick. They have been much better at evaluating talent over the years than the Bears. So it would indicate they see something special there.
