Actually, having been here before, Ballard probably had a birds eye view of Teddys meddling and incompetence at football.

Still, I certainly do not mind the Pace pick. So far I am liking it. However, I don't think Ballard would have gone with Fox. Seems like the Bears will hire, but they still have to run it the way the Bears want. You know.... the same way that hasn't worked in decades. Hire the best and get out of their way. If they fail (Fale?) doing it themselves, THEN fire them, but Jesus..... try something different!

It is interesting that the scout in the link supposedly criticizes Pace's drafts when they have been his strong suit apart from then injuries suffered by White.
