If one of those top-3 wide receivers is there at 9, I'm drafting that guy because KA may only be here for 2024. Bears won't be drafting this high for years to come... so this opportunity to get a great WR is not going to happen again for a long time. If all 3 WRs are gone, then that changes things. If they do have a guy who you are confident will still be there at 14 or 15 that is a blue chipper (and that could be) then hey, move down. But if 14 or 15 moves you down to a 2nd tier player then don't trade down. BIH, I keep thinking our board is probably not the same as the Bears draft board. But I have no clue what their board looks like.

OK, Draft is 3 weeks from today. Do we make any more consequential acquisitions before the draft? Or after the draft? Or do we just sign more JAGS and pretty much stand pat?

I doubt anything happens before the draft.
After, yeah they will add a vet or two to backfill.
If they get a 1st round receiver they love, my guess is they wait and see on extending Allen. If they have to settle for a 3rd round WR, they probably push harder to add a year to his contract.
