Serious question here, do we even need a DC? Can't we just focus on getting a new OC and QB coach and keep Eberflus in charge of the D? That way we'd also save some money.

What about Phil Snow? He's the former Panthers DC that Flus brought on as a "Senior Defensive Analyst" or something similar in October. It was shortly after his hire that the defensive intensity started to ramp up.
I believe the HC should be the HC and run the team. The DC should run the defense. IMO, If he's too busy running the d, it can contribute to poor in game decisions. That could be part of eberflus' poor decisions.

IMO we dont need anybody. Flus can handle it all. Besides,seems we are aiming for another 1st pick next year. Tripletta!
