The OL was atrocious today and that was the biggest reason the O sucked. Davis was a miss as a FA signing this year, C is a dumpster fire, and Jenkins had his worst game of the year. There was penetration up the middle all day.
Was watching the CHGO postgame and Hoge brought up a good point. They just don't have much of a chance when their iOL is getting blown up like that. They way to hedge would be to go to a quick throw short passing attack.
Problem is, Fields blows at that as we have seen many times. He is actually LESS accurate on those short throws to the flat than he is on his deep stuff. He's also slow in dropback and windup. He isn't good at it all and we have seen guys like Rodgers who were masterful and quick. BAGENT is better at that stuff than Fields is as we saw this season.
Regarding the OL, add Braxton Jones to the failed list. He blew chunks today too. At one point they were giving him TE help and the left side was still getting hammered
Yeah, but the game plan needs to change to do that. Not sure it did

I would agree
I would also say they HAVE done that many times before and Fields sucks at it.
Its weird because I think Getsy sucks but I also realize Fields has a lot of limitations. He's not a quick decision maker and his windup is slowwwww. He doesn't run a quick-hit WCO very well.

Not sure I agree we have the players to do it. The Ol was not protecting at all. How does the ball get to anyone? No holes were getting opened up for the running game either. I get where he is coming from. He feels the passing game and the QB are being held back by the play calling. Fair enough and probably true. But stand in line. We have other problems too. Not to mention that GB is ascending faster than we are and will be a pain in our ass again

When we fans can sit on our couch and tell what our O is about to do, even a couple plays ahead of time, I can guaran-damn-tee the d coordinators and analysts for GB know also. The play calling was pathetic- "I know! Zone read!" Just hoping that JF can make something out of the f@cking garbage that is in front of him. No chance our O line can handle a good D line that knows exactly what we're doing, they have Rashaan Gary, they got some dudes, they don't need help..but we gave it to them anyway. Then when the run game isn't going, the offense is behind the chains... we all know how that goes
Moore was walking a tightrope there to avoid throwing people under the bus. At least with his words, he seemed frustrated after the game.
He even looked pissed DURING the game. He clearly wants Justin Fields back and is on the record about it. Then we have Luke Getsy and the failed OL yesterday that just imploded, making it impossible for the offense to do anything. Moore looked so hot you could fry an egg on his head during that game.

+1 It was just a brutal game to watch.
We made their O look like a well oiled machine. And maybe it is. That's all I can go on. They moved the ball at will. Even our vaunted top run defense got shredded. They did whatever they wanted and we had no answer to any of it. And no adjustments made either. I don't think we had a clue what to do

+1 I've said it earlier in the season and still feel that Jordan Love is a legit QB1 talent. People were laughing and denigrating Love this season as being a bum. LOL. He is a very good quarterback - I believe he is the best QB right now in the division and still ascending. Guy has been solid with a less-than-ideal offense around him. Those guys he beat us with yesterday were no-names to me. I'm sure folks here knew more about them but they were just JAGs to me. But that being said, the Packers only scored 17 points in that game. If the Bears can't score MORE than that then they can't win many NFL games. It's always the offense that breaks our back here. I don't claim to know what is the best way to fix it, but I know it's broken. Again.
