He seems to give an objective evaluation on Wright. He says he needs to work on his technique but the Bears got a good one here.
I really dont see how could anybody think otherwise at this point. Guy is good
Pretty much everyone (sports media people) who are now commenting on our offensive line situation is talking about two things:
1. The Bears need to fix the center position.
2. The Bears need to decide if Braxton Jones is the answer long-term at LT.
None of the sports media folks are saying Brax is a bad player. Rather they are asking if he is good enough - or should the Bears grab one of the premier LT's in this draft (and there are some real studs there this year), and that would give us a fantastic swing-tackle in Brax as the backup... a high quality depth player instead of a JAG.

We’d have a fantastic line and depth if we drafted LT and moved Brax to a swing position along with drafting a C. Go MHJ at one a LT with our next pick? Would any on the top LT’s be there to do so?

depends on 2nd pick position. If in top 5 maybe, top 10 probably not.

These people are crazy. I agree with Swift’s rankings of our players on the offensive line:
1. Jenkins
2. Brax
3. Wright
4. Davis
5. Whitehair
Brax has improved this year, and will be better next year. We need an edge rusher or 3-tech on the DL a hell of a lot more than a LT in this draft.

Unless you get an Eric Fisher, who took years to finally "get it" and play at a pro bowl level.
I am not a fan of redrafting positions that have capable players already at the position. Braxton Jones is too good of a player to be a swing tackle. He's a starter. This is his second year in the NFL. Swing tackles are stiffs that are not good enough to start.
