Jenkins moves back to left guard like he was supposed to be...and I guess who cares at center between those two...I have more faith in Whitehair...but it ain't much.
Jenkins goes to LG, and who cares about center? Let them have a contest in practice. Whoever can snap the ball straight 10 times in a row gets the start.
I've thought about this and finally figured out a game plan at center for this season. Whitehair and Patrick (both) wing that ball all over the place when they snap. Both get tossed around like ragdolls when they try to block. But what if we went with a 2-center OL? Line them up one-behind-the-other forming a kind of tunnel that the ball HAS to be snapped straight in order to get through the tunnel? Line Fields up behind the 2nd guy at center - so you'd have the 3 guys lined up as Patrick-Whitehair-Fields (probably in that order too). Then the Bears would have BOTH of those pitifully weak centers blocking as one guy. Together they might be able to slow some D guys down as they come through to sack Fields.... in fact, maybe Patrick can just fall down and act as a human speed-bump to slow down the jail break blitz guys coming at Fields. I am going to call Halas Hall and see if I can leave a message for Eberflus about this. Guys, I think this solves our problem at the center position. I really do.

Other than that, I hope the players can work out the best situation for the team.
I'm in favor of leaving Tev at RG to keep the duo of him and Wright together. Although, if Davis is that much more comfortable at RG, slide Jenkins back to LG.
I don't think there's a big enough difference in leadership between Cody and Lucas, and Lucas is clearly the better snapper of the two.
For those curious, I posed the question for those on Twitter. Whitehair has definitely fallen out of favor.
Leave Davis on the right side where he is accustomed to playing. Move Jenkins back to the left and run Herbert and Fields around the edge with Brax pulling and leading the way. That play worked for some long gains last year. Get back to it!
