J.T. O'Sullivan: Tyson Bagent, week 10 (and on this Getsy O)

Brutally honest about this offense and Bagent. JT was a D2 quarterback himself coming into the league. The last couple of minutes of this video he talks about how difficult it is to make the leap from division two ball to the NFL. He says he couldn't imagine him doing this as a rookie when he came into the league. Sounds to me like it is pretty much impossible for a rookie to make this jump and do well. He points out a lot of mistakes that Bagent makes. But he says Bagent looks like a guy who can develop and improve. But expecting him to be good as a rookie is pretty much insane thinking.
He says that in spite of all of this he is impressed that the kid got two wins this rookie year. On a side note he seems to hate this Getsy offense. I've watched a number of these JT video breakdowns on our QBs this year and it's clear that in JT's eyes this is a crap offense (I'm not basing that on this week 10 video alone but rather the series of videos he has made on the Getsy offense performances). The offense itself is bad that they are trying to run under Getsy. At least that is what I'm taking from this year's film studies by JT on the Bears.
