He did not practice on Wednesday. I noticed that he has a toe injury listed in addition to his shoulder injury. Could be quite a challenge going against Khalil Mack on Sunday.

At some point, I want to see him sit for a few games. It's not worth losing him for years to come for this shit of a year.
Agree. Especially with the shoulder being of concern as we don’t want it to become any worse than it already is. Him playing shows the lack of depth we have where we have to keep playing him vs anyone else we have who could be slotted in.

This is why the Bears have more to fix than just the starters on the OL. The depth needs help too. OL drop like flies every single year in the NFL... it's not "if" you'll need the depth guys, but rather "when" you will need them. Because you WILL need 'em and you'd better not tank your season due to crap depth on that OL. We have issues with starters AND ALSO our depth players there.
It really ticks me off that we did not have a solid offensive line in place before we ever drafted our QB1. But the Bears figured they could get by on the cheap with the linemen. They can talk all they want about how they "value" the OL... but they dropped the ball there. And it is their job to know how to build a quality team - and it really begins with the linemen on the team.
