I think there is a similar thread but it is probably 2-3 months old. This is too specific to put in the upcoming off season thread but I thought it might deserve some discussion.
It has been bandied about enough about the looming roster, coaching, & possible FO changes. While nothing is ever set in stone there is a very high probability the Bears will land 2 top 10 picks (I don't think they will land picks 1 & 2). The prevailing thinking has them moving on from Fields and Bagent while impressive is a huge wildcard. I'd like to track the top QB's and their running in the Heisman race, although that by itself does not a franchise QB make. I've changed my mind 3 times already and as of today I'd like to see the Bears position themselves for a shot at drafting McCarthy. He seems to have the tools they need and has been in one of the best programs in the country this year, highlighted by the fact Michigan will challenge for the national championship.
