We still suck balls but at least we fight until the end. I like that.
+1 We played a much better team today. The guys made it an exciting game until the end. We were certainly in the game and I was proud of the effort. Proud of them for sure.
I thought about voting other for Bellamy - nah. HJQ sucks so bad he gets benched over Deon Bush. Dude was exposed throughout the game. His only positive contribution today was when he sat the bench and allowed Amos back onto the field. I could rally behind the entire DBs sucking but they had two takeaways and allowed the game to be close enough to win. Can't throw em all down.
The offense was pedestrian - imagine that but I'm having a hard time singling out one mess so I have to go HJQ. TERRIBLE just TERRIBLE.
On a more positive note, our top three players this game, IMO: 1. Cameron Meredith 2. Cody Whitehair 3. Jordan Howard 4. Akiem Hicks 5. Leonard Floyd
Totally agree with that list. Maybe I'd add Barkley. No turnover, decent job as a third stringer.

I would add one more name. For a guy signed off the street in September, and only in his 2nd NFL start today, he did better than I thought he could. Penalties and drops hurt, for sure, but he still threw 20 of 32 for 212 yards and a TD. I'm not saying he's starter material. But he certainly looks like he could be a solid backup for us next year.
I gotta disagree with the degradation of the OL. They had a solid performance today short of that last drive. OL are trained to hold if it's gonna jeopardize the QB's health. Leno, Larsen and Sitton all had their holds today, but more often than not they gave Barkley plenty of time to throw the ball. I can't slap a deflated pigskin to those brutes who were 90% strong and 10% weak - not when we had many players who played shitty throughout the game (BUSH, HJQ, PORTER, TIMU, etc).

You think Barkely is a franchise QB now?
Are you here just to troll? No one has called Barkley a franchise QB. Rather, people have said they are excited to see what he can do. You need to learn to quit exaggerating and hyperbolizing the last thing you saw or heard. It's getting really old.

I agree. I gotta say for one thing.. These players are not giving up.. They are playing for a spot next year either on this team or elsewhere.
Could be a solid backup for us though. We need one. For a guy signed off the street in September, and only in his 2nd NFL start today, he did better than I thought he could. Especially if he were throwing to starting WR's.
