I had to Google to find just who the heck he was. He's 28 years old and thrown 1 TD pass in his career. So there's that I suppose. He has thrown 5 ints too. He was a 6th round draft pick. His career passer rating is 48 (that's not a typo, it really is fourty-eight). He hasn't been on a roster since 2018, but was briefly a camp body for NE. I did notice this: "On December 5, 2016, it was revealed that McSorley was on multiple Heisman ballots, some even as high as two, just behind Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson." At least I hope they didn't have to pull a "Caleb Williams" and give part of the franchise to sign this one.

Who else is there? some UDFA from some other teams camp that got cut, a QB on someone's practice squad, a guy who isn't retired but not on a roster (who most likely wouldn't sign in Chicago anyway)...Tom Brady?
This guy sucks, but in reality who else is out there at this point that even makes a difference?
Here is a list of PS QBS:
Jeff Driskel (ARI) Shane Buechele (BUF) Ben DiNucci (DEN) David Blough (DET) Alex McGough (GB) Kellen Mond (IND) Nathan Rourke (JAX) Chris Oladokun (KC) Max Duggan (LAC) Sean Mannion (MIN) Tommy DeVito (NYG) Trevor Siemian (NYJ) Holton Ahlers (SEA) John Wolford (TB) Jake Fromm (WFT)
Or there is this list of FA QBs currently on the street: (from spotrac--might be an updated list somewhere else) Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Colt McCoy, Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Chase Daniel, Brett Rypien, Will Grier, Bryce Perkins......
Its bad all around...but I'd like to see Wentz with Peterman as the #2, that would actually make me laugh.
omg get Mond, remember he was going to have a good career! Fromm is still floating around? There is no doubt, that being a shitty qb is the best way to make a living.
