Bears don't beat backup QBs or guys making their first starts in the NFL. Check their recent history. Any other team would blitz a rookie or first time starter until he cried. The Bears are going to sit back in that soft zone and lose 21-12.
Just saw Garapolo was ambulanced out of yesterday's game. We might have a chance.
Honestly, even if he's starting, we still might have a chance. I only found out about Jimmy G's stats yesterday and was surprised to see how bad he's been this year.
A game between two crap teams each playing with a backup QB.
Who's excited?!?!
LOL, while I'm not so much excited, I am very curious to watch Bagent play. My head tells me he will look pretty rough and make a number of mistakes... but my heart is hoping he surprises and does very well. Not for being "The Guy" but simply because he seems like a good kid and I'd love to see him (at least) carve out a career as a backup. I went back and watched his college play and also every pre-season passing play... his play is admittedly very rough. But I'm still looking forward to watching him perform in this upcoming game.
It’s impossible to handicap this game. Hoyer hasn’t won a game as a starter since 2016, and Bagent hasn’t won a game since….never. I’m only playing 1 point on this game in our pick’em league and still don’t know which team to choose.
This game could have big impact on 2024 draft, as both are in the running for a top-5 pick.
