I still believe we should hire Gary Fencik as Team President. IMO he's the only one who could run business AND football operations at the same time. That guy is smart!

No high level football experience, successful in his other ventures so lack of interest is a factor, and a member of the '85 Bears who everyone around Halas Hall likes to ignore because they all hate the McCaskeys. Don't think that'll fly LB.
btw, some have speculated that if Polian comes in he might want to bring one of his kids with him to eventually replace Pace. If that's the kicker, no thanks nepotism is never the answer.

+ 1,000 Haven't we had enough deadbeat GM's? Besides, Pace could still end up being a solid GM for us.

I would not want to see Pace replaced. Other than possibly being led by Fox (which we really do not know), I like what he has done. Pretty solid talent acquisition
