Let's watch and see if he can stay healthy now. If he could be healthy the rest of the season, it makes the OL a totally better unit. The OL has had 5 different configurations in 5 games. Against the Vikings they will have 4 of their 5 starters back - and Braxton Jones is eligible to return from IR after that game. They need to give Borom help at LT though. I had hopes that he could be a decent backup. But I have to admit he's not playing very well... even for a backup.
LINK Schrock: Teven Jenkins showed dominant ability while knocking ‘rust' off vs. Commanders Teven Jenkins made his season debut in Washington after a four-week stint on injured reserve. The Bears were pleased with his play, but Matt Eberflus was non-committal about the plan at left guard going forward

Teven Jenkins looks like a true difference maker on the OL to me. It will be great if he can stay healthy. Jenkins, Davis, and Wright all looked dominant last week.

Yeah, I agree. I'm hoping Jenkins' injuries have no bearing on future injury potential. If the back/neck is fine now, then maybe that's never going to be an issue again. The soft-tissue calf thing could be just a one time thing too. Hopefully, it's just a guy who had bad luck his first few seasons and the injury bug isn't a chronic problem... and that could very well be the case. I do believe he is a special player.
Davis looks good too. I think it was just a matter of him missing practices and games early that hurt. Now he could be a solid guy for us.
Wight looks like he could be an elite level player.
They’re all going to get injured and miss games. It’s life in the NFL today. I’m hoping we keep Jenkins as he is a difference maker when he’s out there. I’m hoping he plays the rest of the season, but I can honestly say I expect him to miss a couple of games due to injury. As the season wears on, Flus may sit some guys to evaluate others as well.
