Bears beat Commanders - who gets the game ball?

What I am seeing now is a pair of players that have a chemistry going, that I did not see earlier in the season. It's like they finally have something special going - timing and chemistry wise. I know those two worked very hard in the off-season to try and get it going together, but it does take time, and especially game reps together. Now, 5 games into the season, it's looking like it's clicking well with these two.

Justin Fields has better OL protection now. Even with the injuries and stuff, it does look like the OL play is better - and it has directly impacted Fields' play. And just as important as the OL improvement is the fact that Getsy is (finally) letting Fields play to his strengths. Fields looks much better in these past two games. I think that's good to see in Fields, and also I think it's good to see Getsy improving.

I figure that if these players continue to improve as the season goes on, then hey, I'm a happy camper. But it remains to be seen if the improvement DOES continue. Realistically, I think what we MAY see is a "two steps forward and one step back" thing... meaning some games will still be rough losses. I don't believe this team can win even half the games remaining. But I do think we can see overall improvement - but not every game. Some games will be that "one step back" thing. LOL, I hope I'm explaining that okay. Basically I'm not expecting Super Bowl stuff. Just "better stuff" with a lot of these young players, including Fields/Moore & guys like Wright and B.Jones (when he returns)... and the rookies, like Stevenson and the rest. It's going to take some time. But I sure feel better about things than I did a a couple of weeks ago. I think there is hope now. I had pretty much lost hope until recently.
