Lovie Smith, w/out those studs all over the field was a poor mans Lovie Smith, this guy is a copy of a copy of a copy of that Smith, w/the toner running out.
I'm telling you he's a poor man's Lovie Smith. That bad.
Instead of Lovie's Deer in the Headlights Lost in the Wilderness look, this guy is just looks totally confused and dumbfounded. Didn't think we could get any worse, but we did. So have we hit bottom yet or are we still free-falling?

Pretty sure NFL is gonna drop us sooner or later. So, next move - relegation. National Flag League

We are still free-falling until we have a solid GM/HC/QB combination in place. Need all 3 to stop the free-falling.
With the Bears last in the NFL in sacks (two) and tied for 28th in takeaways (two), four players Poles inherited but let go combined for 11 sacks, five forced fumbles and three takeaways last week — the Chargers’ Khalil Mack (six sacks, two forced fumbles), the Eagles’ Nick Morrow (three sacks, one forced fumble), the Titans’ Trevis Gipson (one sack, one forced fumble) and the Seahawks’ Mario Edwards (one sack, one forced fumble).
Mack’s six sacks against the Raiders are more than the Bears’ defensive line has had in the last 15 games.
The Bears two takeaways, both of which came against Chiefs’ back-up Blaine Gabbert in garbage time, are the fewest they’ve had through four games since at least 1939, per research via pro-football-reference.com.
The Bears not only don’t have any fumble recoveries in four games, they’ve only forced one fumble — by cornerback Jaylon Johnson.
The Bears have been outscored 66-28 in the second half in games that weren’t blowouts at halftime.
The Bears’ defense has allowed opponents to convert more than 50% of their third-down conversions for four consecutive weeks — the first time that’s happened in at least the last 30 seasons.
Russell Wilson (133.5) is the sixth consecutive quarterback with a 100-plus rating vs. the Bears.
When you look at the above. This defense is worse than 2014 Trestman level. We have no talent anywhere. To make matters worse. We have a HC who is supposed to be a defensive minded guy first and his side of the ball can't stop anything. As much as the offense is a big problem. This defense is just as bad. Poles needs to go for creating such a horrible team.

On top of everything else, the Bears have a lot of D injuries. As if things were not bad enough, right? Our only hope in this game is for the offense to score a lot of points... like in the 30 point range. Don't know if they can do that against Washington.

I do think we could give this neighborhood team a good game, Alex. The kid in the red pants is a stud. I don't think the Bears D can stop him (of course who do they stop, right?).
