Keystone Kops, Three Stooges, Abbot and Costello, take your pick, they're all hilarious. But not as hilarious as the antics of these Bears. All you can do is laugh at them.
can't be in pain anymore when just don't care. I'll watch and laugh as this is a dark comedy right now.
+1 That's a good point actually. Personally, I'm not as "worked up" and upset now, after 4 losses. I have simply accepted reality, that it's another bad year for the Bears. Most of the past 60 years that I've watched the Bears have been bad years, so this is nothing new. Not really. And I'm not complaining and whining about it. Just accepting the reality of the situation.
I am VERY curious to watch and see what the franchise does with President/CEO Kevin Warren in charge now. If he truly has executive power to do what is needed to fix the team, and has the skills to do that - then we could see real change. Think back to the Jim Finks days (Hall of Fame NFL exec of the Bears) who built the foundation for the great 1980's teams and the Super Bowl winning 1985 Bears. My hope is Warren is that good. He could very well be that good. We just don't know yet. But I am still hopeful for better days ahead. I did like the move from Ted Philips to Kevin Warren. It should be a night-and-day upgrade if the family will truly let this guy fix the team now. I am excited about that.
Commanders are a better team than the Broncos, especially on the defensive front. They will come crashing through, and Field should get the ball out faster or this is 5 sacks and two turnovers. On offense, Sam Howell was impressive. He made some big throws under pressure against Eagles and ducked out of a sack by Carter that would have virtually ended the game in regulation. This guy is underrated.

This will be a good game to watch, Eric Bieniemy their OC. He has been mentioned as a possible HC for the Chicago Bears next year. Bieniemy has a very young QB (a 5th round pick last season). Bieniemy is in the first season installing a West Coast offense there.

Yes, he would be a viable HC candidate. Kyle Brandt said this morning on GMF the Bears will not fire Eberflus. If the losing streak continues a few more games to nearly 20, most teams would fire the coach mid-season, but then Bears ownership is not like most teams. LOL.

I figure we are probably playing for the draft position now. At this point it may actually benefit us to keep the coaching staff until this season is over. By allowing the staff to complete the year, there may be a small side benefit in that the job could be more attractive to new HC and coordinator prospects, in that the Bears didn't have a hair-trigger mid-season firing. The coaches will have been given two full seasons.

I'll get interested when they start playing the rookies again, especially on DL, they need to start. I also find it odd that Fields best game as a pro came as the guy everyone calling for became QB2.

I'm thinking it was just a really bad Denver defense that allowed the Bears to look better on offense. I could be wrong, but Denver is almost as bad as the Bears, and Fields could do better against a weak team like that.
