I look forward to Poles drafting 2 more DB's in the upcoming draft. My guess is he trades the first and 2nd picks to get a ton more picks, multiple 2nd's where he loves to draft back to back def players.

The O is not the problem, they'll point to games like Den to pretend that the def still needs more help and we can ignore the offense.

Eberflus needs to be shown the door. GMs usually work with their HC to some extent as they bring in players (draft and vets). I can see that Eberflus got his D guys, both in the draft and also in FA... instead of getting the offense players that are so critically needed. A defense coach getting his guys.

My hope is that we get a skilled O coach and he gets input on the new QB and he gets to bring in the O players needed to fix this offense. The GM may or may not be Poles at that point. But either way I hope we get a rock solid offense guy for our next HC.

My issue with the team and Eberflus is not that they focused on getting D guys. My issue is he got who he wanted and the is WORSE and the Defense is an embarrassment. If opponents were being held to 7 or 14 points at least we would something to hang our hats on. You have a D specialist as a head coach who got staff he wanted and we still can't stop anybody !

If the offense keeps producing do you get rid of him though? If we do that you have to get rid of Fields and not put him into his 3rd offense in 4 years.
