Akiem Hicks named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

He did have an amazing game.  I am excited to watch the team in these last four games - win or lose.  I want to just watch the players and see how they finish the season.  With one more draft and free agency - Pace's 3rd here - I think the talent will be very decent for the next season.  And it is young talent too.  Hicks just turned 27 a few weeks ago.  This roster is loaded with young talent that will continue to develop and get better.  I'm pretty pumped about the future.  LOL, especially since it looks like Vic Fangio is staying.  I about stroked out over that rumor yesterday.
