The Chicago Bears have one top vote-getter at his position for the Pro Bowl.

Josh Sitton was a surprising addition to the Chicago Bears roster before the start of the season, and he has a chance to land in this year's Pro Bowl.
The NFL announced on Monday that Sitton is the top vote-getter at the guard position in the NFC, despite missing three games with an ankle injury. The veteran guard currently has 233,416 votes. The AFC's top vote-getter at the position—Kelechi Osemele—has 252,590 votes.
The Green Bay Packers released the three-time Pro Bowler before the start of the season and Chicago quickly swooped in to sign the former Central Florida standout to a three-year, $21.75 million contract.

“First of all, the skins are on the wall," said GM Ryan Pace after the team signed Sitton. "Three-time Pro Bowler. He’s extremely strong and powerful in the run game. In pass pro, he’s one of those guys that just makes it look easy. You never see him stressed or exposed. He’s in good body position. Smart, very intelligent player. That shows up when you meet with him, and all the research we did on him echoed that, as well.”
According to Pro Football Focus, in Sitton's 483 snaps this season he has not allowed a sack or a quarterback hit and has allowed just five quarterback hurries.
Assuming he is able to get back onto the field for the Bears in the coming weeks, Sitton could be the team's only Pro Bowler this season.
Remember Pace is an idiot for releasing Slauson. He was the difference maker that could make us go 16-0.
Sitton is the real deal. Great guard.
You are making it sound like the Bears released Slauson to get Sitton. The Bears got super lucky he was availible in free agency right before the season started, and released Slauson way to early before they knew what they had. Whitehair would be playing guard and Larsen would have been the center.

That's not how that happened at all! Sitton was still the starting LG in GB well after Slauson was released. Slau was released for Larsen and a guy that retired, not Sitton.

He was. Nobody saw Sittion being released by Packers. It would be like Long being released. Had he signed Sitton and then released Slauson it would make sense, but that was and is still a headscrather. Lukeliy for us we got Sitton otherwise our Oline would be fucked. Either your starting LG or C would be Ted Larsen.. No thanks I rather have Slauson then
