Fields is one smart guy, and a grinder. I absolutely LOVE reading this about his focus this off-season.

Well, I'm glad he is taking this job seriously and working on ways to address his weakness.

He can improve there. And the OL can help there too. If a D guy opens himself up like that, put him on the ground. There will always be some batted passes, but the QB and OL can work on minimizing it.

This is a major area he needs to improve upon. Too many incomplete passes and INTs from batted balls. No reason a guy his height should be having this many.

Gotta get better here. Cut it in half.

I agree, and now it has me wondering....how do you work on cutting down the number of batted balls. DL are taught that at a certain point if you aren't at the QB get your hands in the air when he (the QB) starts to throw. Anyone know what Fields works on?

I tried to Google that yesterday and it seemed like there can be a lot of contributing factors to a high batted ball rate. Here is one article I found from 2018 when Cousins was having a really bad problem with them. FWIW:
