I'm glad Barkley played a good game but saying he was the reason the line did well is all kinds of silly. The OL did well because the 49ers are a terrible 1 win team. That was their starters out there getting beat up by most of our backups (probably why Massie looked good for once). It was obvious they'd just given up in the second half when their offense couldn't do anything.
I love seeing the Bears win, but I'm under no illusions as to why. The best you can take from this is our depth might be pretty good next year if our starters don't spontaneously combust shortly after training camp again.
Pretty amazing how Massie becomes capable when the QB in there doesn't hold onto the ball to long; Cutler*cough/cough*
Well it would have been damn tough for him to get any worse than he was those first few games wouldn't it? Up or out were his only two choices. Plus.....I believe we already established earlier that Cutler wasn't even getting more than 2 seconds to set up and throw in the first two games with one WR who didn't even know his routes so it had little to do with what you believe it did.
When by the Viking game Massie finally had learned how to pass block someone....anyone actually, Cutler did just fine so YOUR perceptions don't make it a fact. And that was against the #1 defense in the NFL whereas today they played the #32 defense. Big difference there eh? Now if you'd like to show me some videos where we can time them that would possibly constitute fact but without that it's still just a perception and yours hasn't always been on target ya' know.
Sorry to spoil your's and Belli's party there old boy but I like to look at facts not emotions. Now if Barkley can beat Detroit, GB, and Minny maybe we've got something here but so far ALL he's done is beat the worst defense in the NFL. I like what I see in him but that still ain't sayin' much so far is it?
I never confirmed the amount of time Cutler had. I will say this he was getting more then 2 seconds on a few of those sacks. At least a few he had more then 3.
i like winning too but scoring 24 points against the worst D in the NFL is not something i'm gonna hang my hat on (even if the weather was horrible). the defense played a great game, particularly the field goal drives.

Well they are giving up an average of 35, and the Bears are on their 3rd qb w/no legit starting WR's/TE's + horrible weather, so ya i'm going to be okay w/that.
