This ball has to go to Hicks. 10 tackles (8 solo and 2 assists) 2 sacks and 1 FF. We're talking about a DT here getting ILB tackle totals and 2 sacks. Un-fricking believable ESPECIALLY considering the 2 FGS San Fran mustered were both off of Shit STeam plays which put them in Bear territory.
The defense allowed a total of 6 net passing yards. UN-FRICKING-BELIEVABLE. Before I give any ball to the offensive players, who admittedly did well, Hicks and then Floyd gotta get some credit. Those DAWGS came hungry.
I remember some here saying Fangio is overrated but he has put on some great defensive plays for us even with all the injuries.
Against his ex-team nonetheless. The QB & offense that knows him the best in the NFL having practiced against his sets every day.
Not a game ball performance considering the other standouts on the team, but Nick K. had one hell of a game too. Timu and Kwiatkoski filled in nicely for our missing veteran studs. I don't want to speak in hyperbole OR speak too quickly, but we might have some really nice depth at ILB FINELY.

I agree. Which is why I put him up there. Thought he had pretty good game today.
Just saw this over at PFF - it was a pre-game one on one matchup to watch:
San Francisco 49ers at Chicago Bears While 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick seems to be a repeated favorite among fantasy quarterback streamers in Week 13, Bears DE Akiem Hicks and the Chicago defense will attempt to limit his success. For Hicks, in particular, to be effective, he’ll have to win the battle against 49ers rookie guard Joshua Garnett, who has seen limited success since first taking the field in Week 5.
