What non-QB player is key to this season's success? Is there a "make or break" guy this year? What other two players do you believe will have a great impact? I'm looking for the top 3 guys.
Watching Peters play last Saturday convinced me that he can still play at a decent level. A lot of people commented on that. If he stays healthy we are going to be okay with this OL because Ifedi can play better than what he showed in that game. We know that. We've seen him do it. I think Peters and Ifedi are "key" to this season. It will mean that Fields can play and not get killed behind the OL. I am NOT saying the OL will be good. I am saying it will be GOOD ENOUGH to not get Fields killed. I'll take that for this year and be a happy camper.
Obviously the bears secondary is a bit of a question mark. Let's see if they can be solid.
Nagy got an "Honorable Mention" due to the fact he will be "key" in deciding on when Fields plays, and how he will be used this season (will Nagy call good plays or even hand off those duties to the OC).
1. The entire OL will determine how good or bad the O is going to be. 2. Mack and Hicks both need to bounce back and with Goldman coming back, I think they will. 3. Roquan Smith is key at stopping the running game.
I also agree w/ the honorable mention of Nagy, Dave. If he can get off his high horse and hand the play calling over to Lazor, we might end up having a somewhat acceptable offense.
