Jesper Horsted, who caught three touchdown passes and made five receptions for 104 yards, has made improvements as a blocker and should be a guy the team hopes to bring back on the practice squad.
“This is Year 3 and it feels great to be comfortable in the offense and not have to be out there thinking about my responsibilities,” Horsted said. “I have great chemistry with all of the quarterbacks from previous years and training camp and I just felt very comfortable out there and I think it showed.
“It’s just going to be kind of a waiting game. There’s a lot of really good people that flashed great film this camp. I’m always competing against them. I feel like I played my best today so just wait and see what Tuesday brings. I would love to be here. Like I said, I am really comfortable in this offense. I know the guys really well so I really hope it’s here. I just want to play football.”
