Justin Fields first official Chicago Bears press conference

Now it's up to this coaching staff.  We have (I think) a young man capable of being a rock solid franchise QB for the Chicago Bears.  But it's now up to this coaching staff to develop Justin Fields to truly reach his ceiling potential.  I do believe we have the coaches to do this.  I do truly believe Justin is capable of being special. 

I also believe Pace is trying hard to provide the offense pieces that will properly support Justin so he can reach his ceiling.  No, the O roster won't be perfect.  But it should be good enough for this young man to develop.  The OL should be pretty good this year.  The receivers are going to be pretty good too I think (I hope A.Rob can sign a contract and stay a Bear beyond this year too).  We have a blue chip TE being developed from last year's draft.  Our run game should be solid too.  LOL, the new RT, Teven Jenkins, is going to be a holy terror destroying everything and everyone in his path.  He is just a vicious mean dude who will be good for our run game in particular.  And a good running game is a young QBs best friend.

All of this adds up to an exciting year.  It's not so much expecting to do something great this year, like win a super bowl, but rather seeing a team being built right and built for the long-haul of winning for years to come.  Sustained winning spanning years... like we've seen from other great teams in the NFL over the decades.  I think we have a shot of being that kind of team, but this year is a 1st step in that direction.  Build on this foundation in 2022 too.  I think Pace will.  And I like to believe this coaching staff is up to the challenge.  We will see :-)

Go for it.  I think he's going to be "The Guy" here for years to come.  And a good guy too,
