By popular demand, here it is Alex. Well is he a jag or not? I tend to agree if the Bolts are now offering 85% of his money and bonuses this year he should sign but they have pulled the offer so who knows where this is going to end up.
I'm kinda split on the Bosa thing because I don't really understand it fully.
What I believe to be true is that Bosa would like 100% of his signing bonus paid now and the Chargers want to spread it out over two or more years. IMHO that's not the way it works with a signing bonus and the Chargers simply saying "but we've always done it this way" doesn't make it correct. Neither does upping it to 85%.
Rookies deals are slotted anyway so he's not negotiating the amount of the contract only how the money is to be paid. Typically they receive a large signing bonus and a minimum salary year one that escalates each year thereafter but overall that signing bonus is where most of there money comes from in that rookie contract.
So have I got this correct. If so them I'd say it's the Chargers who are chiseling here not Bosa.

Well both sides gave enough to get it done and he got most if not all of his bonus this year. The Bolts got their offset language.

Finally or so it would appear although neither side is saying exactly what they finally agreed to. Well Bosa's dad was a 1st round pick and he held out too so I guess we could say it runs in the family. LOL
