I wouldn't sleep on the Lions. They are not a bad team.
Bears can be everything from bottom 5 to top 5. Hard to predict. Just hope Nagy has seen his mistakes and is a better coach than last year, Mack is back to being Mack and the QB situation is improved

If Mack, Quinn, & Hicks can apply pressure and Nichols can hold his own in the rush at NT that will go a long way.

I wrote in another thread this morning about how this is the most unpredictable NFL season in my lifetime (and I'm an old dude). I have no clue as to how this team (or any of the NFL teams) will do this year. It's just a weird time. If fact, there's no guarantee that the season will be played in its entirety. I think it probably will. But hey, this is one crazy year in which anything (good or bad) and happen. I am just approaching it with the mindset of enjoying whatever football we do have. Any football (to me) is better than no football. I absolutely LOVED watching the Chiefs vs Texans last night on TNF. It really was a good game. I can't wait for Sunday now and hope the Bears look really good in beating the Lions.

I loved how Reid schemed the ball out quick. Against that bend but don't break zone Houston was playing Mahomes seemed to be throwing to his first read a lot (camera angles suck so I could be 100% wrong on that.) Not a lot of YAC like we have seen from Hill/Kelce in the past.
Reid has great players AND he knows how to use them. O'Brian on the other hand....

I wish it had been a good game (close) but it wasn't. The outcome really wasn't in doubt after the 1st Q.
KC >>> Houston, clearly the superior team.
Beyond the obvious about how amazing the KC offensive cast is, I was struck by how bad the Houston D (particularly secondary) and OL still are. They've struggled there for years.
KC took their foot off the gas. That game could easily have been 41-10. It wasn't close.

I felt the same way. KC was doing what ever they wanted. I hate that bend don't break style of DEF, especially when your OFF struggles. I thought the KC D-line ruled the LOS for the most part, Watson never looked comfortable after KC built the lead and pinned their ears back to pass rush.
Being able to pass sure opened up the running game for KC. I need to look at their formations again, want to check the number of 3-WR/1-TE/1-RB sets versus 2-WR/2-TE/1-RB sets. I thought I saw more 11 (1 TE and 1 RB) than anything else.

I thought it was better football than I expected to see, considering there was no preseason at all. Even during a normal season you often see teams looking mighty rough before they knock the rust off. But last night the teams looked pretty good, but you hit the nail on the head. Reid has great players AND he knows how to use them. That was the difference. Great coach with great talent. Holy cow that offense is loaded with it everywhere you look. And the blocking, wow. I haven't seen that kind of blocking on the Bears in years and years here. When they HAD to run effectively. They did. Those blockers moved defenders around like you'd move furniture around in one of your rooms. Boom. Boom. Boom. And a rusher would have a nice path to run through. LOL, by comparison, on the Bears, our RBs have defenders draped all over them in the backfield. They look like that poor Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz - in that scene where the Flying Monkeys get him.
